The world is yet to encounter the like of Kaji Nazrul Islam, even in the 125th year of his birth. To celebrate his 125th year is to celebrate his immortality.
Here's presenting a unique musical evening where young artists will present songs of Kaji Nazrul Islam. The artists for the evening will attempt to bring out their understanding of Nazrulgeeti and how they want to carry forward its singing traditions as contemporary students of music. Duets, trios, some experimental uses of chorus, presentations of different versions of the same song - things that are not so common in the performances of Nazrulgeeti - will be parts of the evening.
