From the romantic melodies in 'Chhoti Si Baat' to the moving songs of a terminally ill man in 'Anand', Chowdhury's music celebrates all emotions.
To celebrate his birth centenary, the Anadapur Salil Chowdhury Birth Centenary Society (ASCBCS), in collaboration with Surodhwoni, will present a musical extravaganza on November 19, 2024, at GD Birla Sabhaghar, Kolkata. The programme will feature some of Bengal's best artistes who will perform his evergreen Bengali and Hindi compositions.
